#ChurchToo with Emily Joy

Our third episode this week is with poet and social justice advocate, Emily Joy! I was fortunate enough to meet Emily while attending last year’s, Wild Goose Festival (Shout out to the Goose!) and was able to connect with her a few weeks ago to share some tasty goodness for your enjoyment! Emily takes us on such an amazing journey from sharing some of her stories and then introducing and discussing Purity Culture and its effect on many people’s religious upbringing. There are so many ways to stay connected with Emily so be sure to check out the links provided and keep up with her work! Tune in tomorrow for our final episode of launch week! We will be hearing from media correspondent and Professor of Politics and Media, Dr. Caroline Heldman. Thanks for tuning in and be sure to leave us a comment or send us a tweet!
