Shaping A New Cultural Narrative with Dr. Leah Gunning Francis

Our first episode of #BlackHistoryMonth features author and social justice advocate, Dr. Leah Gunning Francis! Dr. Gunning Francis is well known for her book, Ferguson and Faith: Sparking Leadership and Awakening Community, a book that had a huge impact on the work I am currently pursuing. Dr. Gunning Francis also shares with us her story of being a mother of 2 young African American men and how that has shaped the work she does as Vice President of Academic Affairs and Dean of Teachers at Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis, IN. Check out the links below to stay informed of the details of our conversation.

If you are close to LA, join us for Trevor Gordon Hall, live at Mission Hills Christian Church on Friday, Feb. 16th at 7 PM. This is a free event with beverages provided by our friends at MacLeod Brewing in Van Nuys.
