  • 14941 Devonshire Street Los Angeles, CA, 91345 (map)

Mission Hills is proud to host the Wild & Scenic Film Festival on September 14th at 6 pm! Celebrating a love for nature through film, our inspiring collection of films aims to highlight environmental activism efforts with an urgent call to action.

This evening of environmental justice awareness will also feature a silent auction with all proceeds benefitting local environmental efforts.

We hope you'll join us for this special evening of collective action as we honor our exciting panel of talented filmmaker-activists.

About Wild and Scenic Film Festival:

Wild & Scenic Film Festival is the largest annual fundraiser for the South Yuba River Citizens League(SYRCL). Locally, we raise funds and awareness to recover California’s wild salmon and protect the Yuba River watershed.

We take our festival On Tour to around 120 events each year, partnering with groups working to protect and restore the important places in their communities. Wild & Scenic On Tour generates critical funds and increases awareness for grassroots environmental causes globally.

About Mission Hills:

Mission Hills is a progressive, LGBTQ+ inclusive, and environmental justice church creating radical spaces of belonging, healing, and wholeness in Los Angeles. We are part of the Disciples of Christ denomination, proud members of the Green Chalice program, and certified by One Percent for the Planet. We strive to create a community that honors and celebrates people of all gender identities, sexual orientations, abilities, faiths, ethnicities, and economic statuses.
